Karm ("the app") is a minimal offline daily task tracker. This policy explains what data is collected when you use the app and how it is used.
All task data — your tasks, history, and settings — is stored locally on your device. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to us or any server.
Karm has no accounts, no sign-in, and no cloud sync. We never see your tasks.
You can delete all locally stored data at any time by uninstalling the app.
A home screen and lock screen widget reads your task data from shared local storage on your device. This data remains on your device and is not transmitted externally.
Karm displays ads provided by Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, AdMob may collect:
On iOS, the app will request permission to access your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) via Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework before personalized ads are shown.
Google controls this data independently under its own privacy policy. We do not receive or store this data ourselves.
If you are in the European Economic Area, Google processes advertising data as an independent data controller under its own legal basis pursuant to its privacy policy.
For details, see Google's Privacy Policy and how Google uses data from apps that use its services.
You can opt out of interest-based ads through your device settings:
Karm is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
A future version of the app will introduce optional accounts and subscription features. This privacy policy will be updated before those features are released.
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
